We believe there is no better value than TIRA when it comes to refrigerated vans. Insulation is the most important part of any refrigerated vehicle. Having the right insulation is the key to best performance. We all know the quality is not always visible, what is behind the panel is just as important as what you can see.
Our insulation allows the reefer unit to cool the cargo area correctly especially when it is very hot. We make sure the reefer unit and van insulation is performing correctly, based on detailed specifications and making sure it is “Thermally Balanced”.
The best insulation material for the thickness is Urethane foam. Usually, the thicker the better, but foam quality is just as important. Urethane foam is tricky to make right. The two resins need to be assembled in exactly the correct ratios and completely mixed. If the material is not mixed in a controlled temperature environment the foam does not cure correctly, compromising the insulation value.
Molded panels are installed to protect the carefully installed insulation. Nothing goes behind the panel except man made material so nothing can support fungus or bacterial growth. Fewer seams mean fewer places for bacteria to hide and easier cleaning.
We install special design cooling units for making sure of air distribution on van roof as well as for cooling unit condenser. Units are sized to fit the requirements of our customers.
