PRODUCT DESCRIPTION FOR GAS TURBINE
TiraCare is a soluble magnesium sulfonate vanadium and sodium corrosion inhibitor and dispersant, specifically designed to reduce corrosion and deposits problem in the gas turbines. TiraCare formulation remediate high temperature corrosion and molten deposits formations that may be associated with residual fuel oils containing higher levels of vanadium.

TiraCare is a magnesium carboxylate based vanadium and sodium corrosion inhibitor with a dispersing agent, specifically designed to improve combustion and reduces emission of unburnt particles. TiraCare formulation avoids carbon buildup in burners and reduces corrosion and encrustation in boiler chambers and heat exchangers.

TiraClean is an aqueous solution of Magnesium and Ammonium Nitrates. It is design for use in boilers and furnaces to reduce fouling and corrosion in the fireside heat transfer surfaces. The key word in the description is “On Line”. This means that the cleaning can be carried out without shutting down the boiler or furnace

- TiraClean is an aqueous solution of magnesium and ammonium nitrates with a homogenizer, inhibitors and pH stabilizers.
- It is diluted with normal tap water and this solution is injected with lances and special nozzles directly where the temperature is higher than 500 deg C at a pressure of 5 kgs / cm2. Generally, the viewing ports or peep holes available are sufficient for injection. Immediately the water evaporates, and the Magnesium/Ammonium Nitrates decompose into magnesium oxide and oxides of nitrogen.
- Magnesium oxide prevents the formation of low melting point vanadate's, sulfates and silicates by forming magnesium derivatives which have a high melting point. MgO deposits on the heat transfer surfaces forming a protective grey coating which inhibits the adhesion of deposits on the heat transfer surfaces.
- Oxides of nitrogen are powerful oxidizing agents to convert unburnt carbon to carbon monoxide
